Drug and substance abuse is a growing crisis among youth in Fiji and the Pacific. In Fiji alone, police reported over 1,600 illicit drug cases in 2023 – a sharp rise from about 1,275 cases in 2019 fbcnews.com.fj. This trend shows how widespread and accessible drugs have become.
